Study Finds Vitamin D Deficiency in Pregnant Women Could Lead to Cavities in Children


It appears that cavity prevention in children actually begins in the womb. A Canadian study found that pregnant women with low levels of vitamin D were more likely to have children with dental problems. The study identified a correlation between vitamin D deficiency in pregnant mothers and an increased risk of cavities in their children. For the full article please click here.
